this was only tested on ubuntu 10.04 lucid amd64!

1. download this driver from 
http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/bcmwl-kernel-source amd64/i386
2. sudo apt-get install linux-image-3.0.0-15-generic linux-headers-3.0.0-15
3. sudo dpkg -i /where/the /driver/is/*.deb
4. echo -e "blacklist bcma\nblacklist brcmsmac\nblacklist mac80211" | sudo tee 
-a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-bcm.conf
5. reboot and boot the new kernel 3.0.0-15
if the wl module will not load on boot 
6. sudo modprobe wl
after installing the driver and successful  builded for the new kernel 3.0.0-15 
7. sudo apt-get purge linux-image-2.6.32-33-generic linux-headers-2.6.32-33
