This is pretty weird, since looks like you are actually using a unity3d
session, despite unity2d-related processes are running on your system.
I'm seeing right now that a "/usr/bin/unity --reset" command has been issued.
Did you tried to respawn a unity session manually?
Please, would you paste here the result of "ps -ef | grep unity" immediately
after a reboot?
Since we need to investigate further about this bug, I'm reopening it right now.
