Can confirm behaviour and work-around. HP Elitebook 2540p. Xubuntu 12.04 installed. Using the iwlwifi module. Connection with a Netgear wireless access point running b/g absolutely fine Connection to a WHR-G300N router has intermittent pings - and websites etc load slowly.
