Same problem for me. Fresh 12.04 install this morning and my logitech k750 became desperately QWERTY since then... It is properly detected as xkb_layout=fr in Xorg.0.log, though. Tried to reinstall all fr language support packages : no luck.
I have to admit that I didn't try to connect another kb (because I don't have one) to check whether the issue is related to the logitech wireless device or not.
