Panel opacity is affecting quicklist opacity on my 12.04 64bit system
too. My quicklist items are downright un-readable (see my screenshot).
My panel opacity is set to 0.1, launcher opacity to 0.45, and "Panel
Opacity for Maximized Windows Toggle" is checked to be active. I have no
background color set in CCSM, and I have a black and white photograph as
my wallpaper. Seems like a usability issue that might warrant more than
"low" importance.
