You mean, I installed Skype from Skype's website and therefore you don't care,
or you don't care about software like Skype in general?
If the first is the case, then the first package to try was the one that I got
installed with Synaptics IIRC. I had the same issue, so I figured I'd try the
latest version possible... So if possible, do please have a look there. I know
Skype is far from being perfect, but my mom is used to it, so I had no choice :)
