The fix does not work for me. (Ubuntu 11.10 i386, *Ubuntu default* install, replacing gnome with lxde)
Running "sudo pm-hibernate" or "sudo pm-suspend" does work (without producing a lock screen). By the way: upon return from hibernation/suspend I get a "not authorized" warning dialog. But I made a weird observation, perhaps this makes sense to someone: Until 2012-06-29 everything worked just fine, but from 2012-06-30 on I got much fewer entries in the shutdown menu (suspend/hibernate/logout/cancel) exhibting the bug from this thread. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/961122 Title: lubuntu-logout is "not authorized" to suspend or hibernate To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lubuntu-default-settings/+bug/961122/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
