Thanks for publishing this fix! I only like to add, the standard icon theme in gnome-shell after an ubuntu installation is ubuntu-mono-dark and not Humanity-Dark, so you have to apply the fix on that folders. And isn't the low res OSD volume icon the same issue in unity as well?
