I tried these dongles on two PCs running 12.04 and they actually cause the systems to freeze, so that I have to reboot with the power button. They seem to work when I plug them in, but I try to pair them with PS3 controllers using sixad and then the system freezes. This was repeated many times through reboots and on two systems. I have not tried with any other bluetooth devices.
