Updated description as ubuntuone-installer.desktop will actually not be in this package, but will be in the ubuntuone-control-panel-qt binary package instead, next to the binary it will run.
** Description changed: In order to facilitate the removal of the ubuntuone-installer code and package, and to reduce duplication of some data files and images, we have created the ubuntuone-client-data project, to include common data for all the Ubuntu One client applications and libraries. It is a bit late, but would be very nice to have this in Ubuntu 12.10. - There are some slight changes to the main Ubuntu One icon as well. This - package also subsumes the ubuntuone-installer.desktop file, and has the - translations imported for it, so should not break any strings. + There are some slight changes to the main Ubuntu One icon as well. The icon is now in many more sizes, and has changed slightly. The new logo icon looks like this: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntuone- control-tower/ubuntuone-client- data/trunk/download/head:/ubuntuone.png-20120905151530-xma2yq6c532j8p2k-62/ubuntuone.png Ubuntu Doc team mail: https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu- doc/2012-September/016835.html -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1047606 Title: [needs-packaging] [FFe] ubuntuone-client-data To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1047606/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
