** Description changed:

I'm trying to use Nautilus to copy a directory with thousands of images
(38950) plus some smaller folders (one thousand files total, a Drupal
installation) from FTP server.
- If I select everything except the large directory it copies just ok. But If I
add the large one it stops after "preparing" the files and copying a couple of
them (2 to 10) and there are no network activity (I use etherape to monitor).
It may be a server's fault but then Nautilus should handle this and not just
stop.

After that "copying" can only be stopped by killing nautilus.
