So i've tryied with the mainline kernel:
Linux phoinix-Lenovo-IdeaPad-Y550P 3.6.0-999-generic #201209190418 SMP Wed Sep
19 08:19:59 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
System booted ok. And I get exactly same behavior. Erratic touchpad & keyboard
response.
Also, using the mainline kernel, neither the external USB mouse worked.
