DO NOT ATTEMPT ABOVE'S SOLUTION !! I've spent last 4 hours fixing my entire OS thanks to that great idea of installing a backport.... which indirectly updated linux headers, which made my lucid upgrade to latest drivers for it all, breaking Video, and a bunch of ConfigWare !!
