In bug 1055944 I forgot that precise also ships a postgresql-8.4 package
in universe, because lucid's postgresql-8.4 does not work any more:
lucid's is built against libperl5.12, but precise ships libperl5.14
which is not co-installable. But we have 8.4.14 in lucid-updates by now,
but 8.4.11 in precise, so an upgrade won't actually work for 8.4 until
we have a newer version in precise-updates.
I'll upload the same kind of update to precise-proposed now that I
uploaded for the "regular" updates in bug 1055944.
** Package changed: postgresql-9.1 (Ubuntu) => postgresql-8.4 (Ubuntu)
** Summary changed:
- do-release-upgrade (lucid->precise) leaves postgres (8.4 & 9.1) in bad state.
+ do-release-upgrade (lucid->precise) leaves postgres 8.4 in bad state
** Also affects: postgresql-8.4 (Ubuntu Precise)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Changed in: postgresql-8.4 (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid
** Changed in: postgresql-8.4 (Ubuntu Precise)
Status: New => In Progress
** Changed in: postgresql-8.4 (Ubuntu Precise)

** Changed in: postgresql-8.4 (Ubuntu Precise)
