I think the error message was:

'Error while mounting /media/Storage 1. Press S to skip mounting or M to
[something]'

I'm afraid I installed Gnome remix over my Kubuntu install and Gnome
remix doesn't bring up an error message. I can reinstall Kubuntu 12.10
if you need the exact message. Or is there a way to make Gnome remix
display error messages on boot?
