Hi Octavian, thanks for reporting this bug.

We've changed the way applications talk to the messaging menu (through a
new API called libmessaging-menu). Not all applications have been ported
yet, including piding and skype-wrapper. Porting applications is tracked
in bug #1040259 (pidgin was already on it and I've add skype-wrappeR).
Feel free to add any applications there that are not yet listed.

To see the empathy in the messaging menu, you need "telepathy-indicator"
installed.

I don't think we need to keep this bug open, as we're already tracking
this issue in the other bug. Do you agree?
