I found no instructions above !! (or below either). ???

I am still without the software center ... I will be leaving this desktop
computer in a few weeks and will
be going to Florida for the winter where my computer runs a Gnome desktop
... and when I get back up North I plan on having a new computer built and
will install Ubuntu with a Gnome desktop which I like better than Unity.

None the less I would appreciate help in getting my software center back on
this computer -- which I will keep as a spare computer.
