I am running a Samsung 305U1A and I just installed Lubuntu on it:
lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
Release: 12.04
Codename: precise
$ uname -a
Linux thor 3.2.0-31-generic #50-Ubuntu SMP Fri Sep 7 16:16:45 UTC 2012 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
After install I ran the "Additional drivers" program and installed the
Broadcom STA wireless proprietary driver. My wireless is working just
fine.
