The comment #24

Fixed 75% of the bug

In Lubuntu 12.04, I changed the driver "EPSON 9-pin GENERIC" to "Generic
ESC/P Dot Matrix Printer Foomatic/epson (recommended)" and now the
printer is printing pretty fine, but the difference is with the letters,
in Times new roman, size 12, it prints small, and the dots from the
pines of the header, forms a line by each line of letters (like a
progressive scan on a interlaced scan TV), for example: the "wordart" of
libreoffice, is printed like an image integrated by lines and dashes,
but it is pretty legible and readable, the fonts sans and arial is
printed so good, the latest line is printing pretty cool.

It looks like I have not really tested ALL the drivers, jajaja, the bug
is in the EPSON 9-pin driver, and in the following generics drivers:

IBM compatible Dot Matrix, Generic Text Only, IBM ProPrinter II, Epson
9-pin/24-pin dot matrix
