Public bug reported: When I try to run a benchmark on one of mz HDDs I get an error dialog saying:
An error occurred Error seeking to offset 2147483648 (g-io-error-quark, 13) The benchmark in Ubuntu 12.04 works fine. There are no related messages in kernel log, so it is probably a bug in the benchmark app. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: gnome-disk-utility 3.6.1-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-17.28-generic 3.5.5 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-17-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.6.1-0ubuntu3 Architecture: i386 CasperVersion: 1.328 Date: Tue Nov 27 18:27:11 2012 LiveMediaBuild: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Release i386 (20121017.2) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-disk-utility UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: gnome-disk-utility (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 quantal running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1083729 Title: Disk benchmark does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-disk-utility/+bug/1083729/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
