Sebastian & Žygimantas, it works here with Ubuntu 12.10 and the GNOME3 PPA.
1. Add the GNOME3 PPA; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get dist-upgrade 2. Open System Settings and click Region & Language 3. Switch to the Layout tab. 4. Click the + button to add additional keyboard layouts. With 50 comments on this bug and dozens of subscribers I can no longer effectively triage this bug. If you are still having problems, you need to open your bug if you want it to get the attention it needs.
