Public bug reported:

Every time I try to load the kvm-amd module, my system crash with a
kernel panic. I can load kvm without trouble, but no kvm-amd.

There is nothing logged in /var/log/*

I tried to log the crash, but "gdb modprobe" doesn't get anything and
"strace -Ff -tt modprobe kvm-amd 2>&1 | tee strace-kvm-amd.log" doesn't
get written to disk (I suppose the kernel crashes before having time to
write it to disk).

I've read that kvm modules can't coexist with modules from vmware,
virtualbox or parallel, so I uninstalled vmware-player and same thing
happens.

If there is another way of loging kernel crashes (may be kexec?), tell
my and I try.
