I could not install the linux-headers because of dependency problems "linux-headers-3.8.0-030800rc7-generic depends on linux- headers-3.8.0-030800rc7;" the image and image-extra are successfully installed. After installation a new kernel, the wireless card disappeared. Please, see the 3.8.0-030800rc7-generic.txt file. Also I wonder why on the 3.2.0-23-generic kernel the wireless card appears as eth1 and it should be wlan0, as it was before? I mean after fresh installation of Ubuntu 12.04 for this please see the 3.2.0-23-generic.txt. Maybe the problem is somewhere else?
