Confirming, seeing this too on my kubuntu feisty install. It tries to
load alot of icons under /usr/share/icons/gnome/ that don't exist, These
are part of gnome-icon-theme; installing that package caused the icons
to appear on the buttons in muine's user interface.
It also misses other dependencies such as various gstreamer related
packages, see bug #106203.
