Quoting from the above bug report: There are two commits that fixed the problem--one on the read side and one on the write side. They may require other commits in order to apply without too much trouble. They are:
abdaa6a8 libceph: don't use bio_iter as a flag a4107026 libceph: (re)initialize bio_iter on start of message receive Those commit ids are as they appear in the 3.6 released kernel. These are already included in the quantal-lts backport kernel (which is how we worked around this issue). It would be good to get this fixed up for the 3.2 kernel as well. ** Summary changed: - rbd driver crashes when ceph backend partially down + rbd driver crashes when ceph OSD down -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1183862 Title: rbd driver crashes when ceph OSD down To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1183862/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
