Sorry, you can check that with udevadm info. Since that snippet fixed it, that would indicate that it is being detected as a raid component instead of an lvm pv. I wonder if you have a left over md signature. Which md device is supposed to be the lvm pv? Can you run mdadm -E on that md device and see if it also contains a raid superblock?
