Networking works flawlessly for me on a MacBook Pro v2 from november
2006. I guess the network adapters are the same on the MacBook v3 (and
thus the drivers).

- wired:
02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8053 PCI-E
Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 22)
driver: sky2 (from Gutsy)

-wireless:
03:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5418 802.11a/b/g/n
Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)
driver: madwifi-ng (from madwifi.org SVN).

I had noticed some random network lockups some months ago, but at least
since mid-July everything works great.

Can you provide an report on your situation using an updated Gutsy ?
