I tried to install compiz from the ppa, I did:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:vanvugt/compiz-preproposed
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
Result:
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Is it expected? I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with raring kernel backport.
