Verified on 201208-11537
This system is able to boot in UEFI mode.
But as Ivan's comment in #3, the system should be installed in the UEFI mode 
first.

1. Restore BIOS to default settings, make sure it will not boot in Legacy mode
2. Install Ubuntu 12.04.2 with a LiveUSB which was created by the Startup Disk 
Creator on another system.
3. Reboot, done.
