Public bug reported: Hi,
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.2 and noticed that the monitoring tool Munin writes a large amount of warnings into /var/log/munin/munin-graph.log. [PERL WARNING] Use of uninitialized value $only_fqn in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/perl5/Munin/Master/GraphOld.pm line 1361. I'm currently using 1.4.6-3ubuntu3.3 of the package munin which contains this GraphOld.pm file. I've debugged the file and confirm the missing initialization. I've compared the file with the 2.0 branch of Munin and backported the change. (see attached patch) My logs are now clean. Please apply this patch to the next version of the package munin. Thanks a lot and best regards :-) ** Affects: munin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: precise ** Patch added: "fix for the missing initialization - backported from munin 2.0 branch" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1210936/+attachment/3767812/+files/oldGraph.patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1210936 Title: Warnings in munin-graph.log during each graph rendering run To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/munin/+bug/1210936/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
