Another strange symptom to add: When playing Pandora in Google Chrome, the audio will stop as describe above. When I change the profile in configuration in order to get the music playing again, Pandora acts as if I hit the next button and moves to the next song regardless of progress in the current song. Not sure how those are related, but they do seem to indeed be related.
