I "fixed" the issue by running hp-setup. It "discovered" the printer,
created a new instance of the printer, I deleted the old one, and the
new one works.

Anyway it's ridiculous that an existing printer just breaks.

I'll confirm the bug as I think there's enough information in the report
to address it, and there's no point in waiting for somebody else to
stumble on the same issue _and_ on the bug report.
