Thanks for the suggestion. This would make the buttons in this dialog inconsistent with every other dialog on the system. That isn't *necessarily* a bad thing -- the dialog does something more startling than most other dialogs on the system. But when visual design is used to indicate that, it's typically done by changing the design of the entire dialog (as in Windows, and Unity 7), not just the buttons.
Anyway, the particular problem here of distinguishing Restart vs. Power Off we are instead going to solve by removing the Restart button (bug 1436458). ** Changed in: ubuntu-ux Status: Triaged => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1377146 Title: [design] [Dialogs] shutdown menu should show icons To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1377146/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
