Hello,
I am now running Ubuntu 16.10 and the m3u8-streams work fine.
The playlist URL work both in Totem (Add Web Video) or by clicking on the
.m3u8 file from file manager. So all is good in Ubuntu 16.10.
One thing that could be improved in the Totem player:
The ^Add Web Video^ menu in Totem does not play the stream directly. One
have to click the dummy square once again.
Then it starts playing. An ordinary newbie may get confused.
