This is not funny any more... Ubuntu 16.04 desktop is not usable any more...
The issues described by posters above used to happen to me only once per 14 days... Then once per week... And now it happens daily. I can not use the system. The only way is to power off the computer and power it back on. All my work lost and unable to do work. Is there a patch? If, how to apply it? Is there a workaround? I use Ubuntu 16.04, on a laptop with NVIDIA graphics and additional monitor.
