Marcelo: Your solution posted (and attached file) allowed me to remove linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-10-generic I sure as heck did not want to reinstall Ubuntu as I already spent hours getting my Tablet features (right-click button on Wacom, autorotate, etc, etc) to work. And I need to install more packages. I am now saved. Thanks.
