Public bug reported:
splatd depends on python-zconfig, which has been removed from Debian
unstable as part of the python2 deprecation. splatd is itself python2,
and has not been uploaded since 2011. In the unlikely event that
someone is interested in maintaining this package, they should fix it to
not depend on python or on python-zconfig; otherwise if this remains
unfixed at the time of the eoan release, splatd will be removed from the
archive for eoan+1.
