Our high-level goal is to provide a solution to enable NVMe as the local storage in the cloud node shared by multiple VMs. This would require 1) allocated storage space for different VMs with (security) isolation 2) I/O bandwidth performance with QoS. For high overhead of file system passthrough, is it possible to profile the performance overhead? Thanks again.
