Public bug reported: With complex network setups or when networking is in a wonky state and you're not sure how/why, '/etc/init.d/networking restart' was a nice 'reset the world to a known good state' tool in an ifupdown world. It'd be very useful for me if netplan had something similar as my only other option appears to be 'reboot', which is a very big hammer.
