Does this prevent installation, or is it something that is resolved by
updating the driver after installation?

Also, can you try this with the latest daily image for 22.04 (as the
target is 22.04) available at https://cdimage.ubuntu.com

Additionally, presuming you can install this and later modify things,
instead of updating the driver via console, could you enable the jammy-
proposed repo (info here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed) and install the 5.15
kernel from the jammy-proposed repo and see if that includes the correct
driver?
