Public bug reported:

When installing Ubuntu in AWS EC2 the default repositories only have DNS
A records. This means you can't use IPv6 only hosts in AWS.

Example broken repository: us-east-2.ec2.ports.ubuntu.com

This returns null: dig +short aaaa us-east-2.ec2.ports.ubuntu.com

Whereas works as expected: dig +short a us-east-2.ec2.ports.ubuntu.com

** Affects: cloud-images
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: aws
