Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bluez-gnome
What symmary says... Unfortunately, I don;t know what I did wrong. I used my USB adaptor on many PCs (but always paired only with my phone), I played a bit with /etc/default/bluetooth and /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf (I was trying to share my desktop internet connection with my phone, it did't work), but I stull guess I has everything about device class configured as it was when I used Bluetooth for the first time (and I was able to choose device class). hcid.conf: ... device { ... class 0x000100; ... } ... $ hciconfig -a hci0: Type: USB BD Address: 00:11:67:8D:81:15 ACL MTU: 1021:8 SCO MTU: 48:10 UP RUNNING PSCAN RX bytes:108951 acl:508 sco:0 events:855 errors:0 TX bytes:22612 acl:473 sco:0 commands:275 errors:0 Features: 0xff 0xfe 0x8d 0x3e 0x88 0x19 0x00 0x00 Packet type: DM1 DM3 DM5 DH1 DH3 DH5 HV1 HV2 HV3 Link policy: RSWITCH HOLD SNIFF PARK Link mode: SLAVE ACCEPT Name: 'mana2' Class: 0x080000 Service Classes: Capturing Device Class: Miscellaneous, HCI Ver: 2.0 (0x3) HCI Rev: 0x2c6 LMP Ver: 2.0 (0x3) LMP Subver: 0x2c6 Manufacturer: Integrated System Solution Corp.
