Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bluez-gnome

What symmary says... Unfortunately, I don;t know what I did wrong. I
used my USB adaptor on many PCs (but always paired only with my phone),
I played a bit with /etc/default/bluetooth and /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf
(I was trying to share my desktop internet connection with my phone, it
did't work), but I stull guess I has everything about device class
configured as it was when I used Bluetooth for the first time (and I was
able to choose device class).

hcid.conf:
...
device {
    ...
    class 0x000100;
    ...
}
...

$ hciconfig -a
