Public bug reported:

I started my PC from hard disk several days ago normally using Grub and latest
Ubuntu 8.4. (and updates daily)
In the DVD-writer was a CD Hardy Tribe 3 i386 as burned several weeks ago, (for
creating Ubuntu on a Stick) but never accessed this session.
when pressing the physical eject button on the drive, the drive opens alright,
but an error 'cannot eject disk' appears on screen.
So something is faulty. either the disk is locked in some way and may not
eject, or the the drive opens without protesting...

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
