Public bug reported: Binary package hint: thunderbird
this has always annoyed me, these button are not displayed by default but can be added via customise toolbar, and they do not seem to work as expected, when in an open email and I want to jump up and down my emails without returning to the list I can press the B or F keys, when added to the toolbar the "Back" and "Forward" buttons are greyed out unless it is marked as unread or you have already use B or F, should they do the same as the B and F keys? The "Previous" and "Next" buttons seem to preform exactly the same function (only unread emails). I am on Linux now running Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 but I'm pretty sure it did the same when I ran Windows. Can you fix this.
