Am having the same problem here too. The keyboard just freezes of randomly and I need to do a reboot to get it started again, Also could not find anything in /var/crash/ connected to this freeze. I have a completely updated Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) on an HP Pavilion dv6000 (AMD Turion 64x2 with nVidia graphics etc).
