Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

nautilus:
  Installed: 1:2.22.0-0ubuntu3
gvfs:
  Installed: 0.2.1-1ubuntu1
gvfs-backends:
  Installed: 0.2.1-1ubuntu1

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open a nautilus window with a "Places" sidepane.
2) Drag a file from your desktop into the main pane, passing over the "Network
Servers" Places entry.

Expected Behavior:
Nothing should occur on passing over the "Network Servers" entry.

Actual Behavior:
Nautilus (and the entire UI, including mouse) hangs for a short time, possibly
trying to perform some network operation that times out.

No possibly-blocking action should be taken with regards to a drag and drop
target until the drag is ended by releasing the mouse button.
Oddly, as I write this bug, I can't seem to recreate it, so maybe I'm missing
another triggering condition. However, it seems to be more than simply
incidental, as I've noticed it many times in casual use.

It should be noted that I am running Compiz, which may relate to my
whole UI hanging instead of simply nautilus.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
