Here's how to reproduce it:
Open glchess.
Select Game->New, or press "Ctrl-n).
Set one player to Human, and the other to Gnu Chess.
Click "Start" to begin the game.
Now go to Help->Contents.  An "Info Bar" with the following text appears:
"[Color of Human] Wins
One of the players has died"

How do you even "die" in Chess?  I don't normally use the term "death" to 
describe checkmate.  
This is odd, and may actually affect localization / translation.
In addition, the message is missing punctuation; however, the need for 
punctuation there is subjective.
