Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: apport
some crashes (for instance bug #211447on f-spot, and other failing
programs) are not reported to launchpad, but instead display their info
on the screen, or just die silently.
This in ubuntu 8.04 beta on .14 i386 kernel (todays update) (but observed
before)
