I concur this bug and it is driving me nuts.
My video card is a nVidia Corporation G71 [GeForce 7300 GS] (rev a1)
Other symptoms include terminal windows going completely opaque as well
as the pink title bar.
My system is Hardy with a uname -r 2.6.24-16-generic kernel #1 SMP
Thu Apr 10 13:23:42 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
I am using the 'non-free nvidia' driver. For what it's worth I am
running with 'Visual Effects' set to 'Normal'
I hope to get a screenshot of this soon.
