Yes, count me in as a potential brand new Ubuntu user that has been
stopped dead in my tracks.  My Inspiron 530s came loaded with Vista and
I have it all nicely configured.

This sounds like a fixable issue.  Given that I have no running version
of Ubuntu to update, I will have to wait for a fix and a full
description of how to create a new CD to boot from.

Thanks for supporting this.  I have to imagine this architecture is
fairly common and that we are not alone but part of a large number of
frustrated people.
